1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account & Identity Information: Name, mobile number, role type (Driver, Owner, Officer, Dealer).
  • Registration & Admin Approval: Sign-up details submitted by Truck Owners, Company Officers, or Dealers and their verification status.
  • Trip & Operational Data: Trip requests, accepted trips, active, running, and completed trip history.
  • Payment Information: Payment history, transaction records, and receipts.
  • Profile & Preferences: Profile updates, notification preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To verify identity and enforce Admin Approval for signup.
  • To match trip requests with eligible Owners/Drivers and monitor trip status.
  • To manage payments, generate Payment History, and maintain financial records.
  • To send notifications based on your selected preferences.
  • To maintain and improve app functionality and security.

3. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain user data as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Users may request account deletion, which will remove their personal data except where retention is legally required (e.g., payment records, completed trip logs).

4. Data Sharing and Security

  • We do not sell or trade your personal information.
  • Information may be shared with service providers only for app functionality (e.g., payment processors).

II. Terms of Service

1. User Roles and Registration

The Easy Truck app supports four user roles: Truck Driver, Truck Owner, Company Officer, and Dealer.

  • Truck Owners, Company Officers, and Dealers must sign up and receive Admin Approval before logging in.
  • Truck Drivers can only log in once approved and assigned by the Admin.
  • Login is verified via mobile number with OTP authentication.

2. Trip Management and Responsibility

  • Trip Requests are initiated by Company Officers or Dealers.
  • Acceptance by a Truck Owner or Driver forms a binding commitment to execute the trip.
  • Users can view their Active, Running, and Completed Trips at any time.

3. App Features and Usage

The app provides:

  • Trip Request creation, acceptance, and monitoring.
  • Real-time notifications about trip updates and status changes.
  • Access to Payment History and transaction records.
  • Profile management including updates and notification preferences.
  • Option for users to request account deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Users must provide accurate information during registration.
  • Users are responsible for completing trips they accept in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Abuse, fraudulent activity, or unauthorized use may result in account suspension or termination.
