Nadesoft ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Noor: Prayer & Quran mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address: Used for authentication and account recovery
• Display name: Used to personalize your experience
• Password: Stored securely using Firebase Authentication (hashed and encrypted)

Location Data

If you grant permission, we collect:

• Device location (coarse/precise): Used only to calculate accurate prayer times for your area and to determine the Qibla direction toward the Kaaba. Location is sent only to the Aladhan prayer-times API and is not stored on our servers beyond your device's local cache.

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• Dhikr/Tasbeeh session data: Counts and completion history you choose to save
• Prayer calculation preferences: Your selected calculation method and athan notification settings
• App usage statistics: Features accessed and session duration
• Device information: Operating system version, device type, and unique device identifiers

Notification Data

If you grant permission, we collect:

• Notification preferences: Whether you wish to receive athan (prayer-time) reminders
• Notification tokens: To deliver push notifications to your device

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide core functionality: Calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction for your location
• Personalize your experience: Display your name, dhikr history, and customized content
• Send notifications: Athan reminders at prayer times (only with your permission)
• Improve the App: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features and fix bugs
• Account management: Enable password resets and account recovery
• Sync across devices: Store your data securely in the cloud via Firebase

Data Storage and Security

Firebase Services

Your data is stored using Google Firebase services, which include:

• Firebase Authentication: Manages user accounts and authentication
• Cloud Firestore: Stores your profile and tasbeeh/dhikr session history

The App also fetches prayer times, Hijri calendar dates, and Quran text/audio from free public APIs (Aladhan API and AlQuran Cloud API); no account-identifying information is included in these requests.

Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
• Data transmission is encrypted using SSL/TLS
• Access to user data is restricted to authenticated users only
• Firestore security rules prevent unauthorized access to other users' data

Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data is retained as long as your account remains active
• Deleted accounts: All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion

Access and Portability

You can view all your data within the App's profile section. To request a copy of your data in a portable format, contact us at contact@nadesoft.bd.

Correction

You can update your display name and email address directly in the App settings.

You have the right to delete your account at any time:

2. Tap "Delete Account"
3. Confirm deletion

Opt-Out of Notifications

You can disable notifications at any time through:

• Your device's system settings under Noor

Opt-Out of Personalized Ads

If you see ads, you can limit ad personalization:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Advertising → Limit Ad Tracking

Children's Privacy

Noor is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at contact@nadesoft.bd.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Firebase servers are located globally. By using Noor, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your residence, which may have different data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you via:

• In-app notification
• Email to your registered address

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
